Nuts are good food

Pecans & Almonds -> Lower Cholesterol

Peanuts & Walnuts -> Protect your heart & defend against diabetes

Walnuts, Pecans & brazil nuts -> Countering cancer

Cashews, Macadamia nuts, Brazil nuts, Almonds, Pecans & Walnuts -> Keeping Trim (Cos they are satisfying, so people feel fuller longer)

Studies show :

  • The more almonds people ate, the lower their levels of LDL cholesterol and the higher their levels of HDL
  • Eat handful of peacans to daily diets lower cholesterol by 11.3%
  • Men ate nuts at least twice a wk can lower risk of sudden cardiac death
  • Women ate at least 140g of nuts a wk less likely to suffer heart attacks
  • Healthy adults ate nuts 5 or more times/wk, were 50% less likely to die of heart attack
  • Vitamin E present in walnuts and peacans appears to slow the growth of lung and prostate cancer cells.
  • People who frequently eat nuts are thinner than those who dont
  • Eating walnuts decreases hunger and causes people to eat less at meals
*** Macadamia & Brazil nuts haf the highest fat and calorie content among nuts!
